Dear SJMS Community
This week is National Volunteers Week, May 20-26, we would like to acknowledge all our wonderful volunteers within our community that donate their time and effort to supporting numerous school and community events and activities. Without these wonderful people we would not be able to achieve as much as we do, thank you.
We hope you all had a special Mother’s Day. Thank you to those that were able to make the Mother’s Day Liturgy and Morning Tea on Friday 10 May. Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who helped throughout the week leading up to Mother’s Day with the stalls, flower workshop and the wonderful morning tea. We would like to especially thank those who donated raffle prizes; Kyla Neill - from Succeeding with Oils, Kimberley Kennedy - Petal and Sage, Tim and Charlotte Hutchesson - Linden Park Pharmacy, Annette Paech - Beerenberg and Lilian Ham - Lilian Art. Great community support for a wonderful community event.
The Year 6/7 Leaders were great helpers on the day selling raffle tickets, serving the cakes and slices and ensuring that the mothers, grandmothers and special friends were well looked after. Thank you to you all for your wonderful help and support.
