Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Saint Joseph's Memorial School.

A place to deeply enjoy personal and collaborative pathways to learn and lead.

As a Catholic School, we educate the whole child in their spiritual, academic, social and character development.

We take great pride in the teaching and learning opportunities for all students to be the very best they can be. We are blessed to have caring and committed teachers who will know your child deeply to best support their learning and wellbeing.

We are deeply bonded with and listen to our families and community to provide the personal attention and support you feel is important for your child's optimal development at school. We build strong connections with our children’s families, and you can expect high levels of care, communication and continuity from us.

Throughout their time at Saint Joseph's Memorial school, students will have valuable opportunities to represent the school through undertaking extra-curricular activities including; Children’s University, Tournament of Minds, Debating, an After-school sports program (Basketball, Netball, Cricket, Soccer), sports carnivals (Athletics, Swimming, Touch Football plus more).

Our Preschool to Year 1 Junior Primary Bridge Street campus enables children to build positive relationships, confidence, curiosity, and the crucial building blocks of their learning, especially in Literacy and Numeracy. Our Year 2 to Year 6 William Street campus provides modern learning spaces with facilities that include break out STEM space with a 3D printer, a new Performing Arts Space with a stage and music instrumental rooms and a new outdoor courts and nature play space area. For all year levels, we offer additional support programs for students in Literacy to help build their confidence, skills and application of language.

Our school is a welcoming, safe and supportive place for all. We place a high importance on the children building positive lifelong friendships.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our inclusive community.
